On November 14, Evergrande Group released its sales performance of October. According to the announcement, in the current month, Evergrande achieved the contracted sales volume of 8.61 billion yuan, with an increase of 54.9% compared to that of the same period of 2010, which was 5.56 billion yuan, and the contracted sales area of 1.398 million square meters, with an increase of 56.7% compared to that of the same period of 2010, which was 892,000.00 square meters. From January through October this year, it achieved the accumulated contracted sales volume of 77.87 billion yuan, with an increase of 89.2% compared to that of the same period of 2010, the accumulated contracted sales area of 11.856 million square meters, with an increase of 79.9% compared to that of the same period of 2010, and the accumulated contracted average sales price of 6,568 yuan/m2, with an increase of 5.2% compared to that of the same period of 2010.

According to the statistical data, Evergrande’s sales volume has been continuously keeping the benign growth since this year. It overfulfilled the full-year sales target of 70 billion yuan two months earlier, accumulatively completing 111.2% of the full-year sales target. According to Dr. Xia Haijun, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of Evergrande, this mainly benefits from Evergrande’s market strategy of fluctuating in line with market conditions, which ensures the excellent sales performance under the adverse market environment. It is reported that Evergrande has started to adjust the average sales price of its properties since July, effectively dealing with the leftover stock of the properties on sale.

It is understood that this year, under the circumstance where the real estate macro-control consistently keeps the high-pressure situation, Evergrande is the first to rapidly complete the strategy adjustment, thus obtaining excellent achievements under the adverse background, so as to further consolidate the market share. Professor Hui Ka Yan particularly emphasized at the news conference that, the product price of Evergrande always fluctuates in line with market conditions, so that the ordinary people in China can afford the houses, which is also the key for Evergrande to develop rapidly in the adversity.
