November 3, GZ Evergrande Group signed a cooperation agreement with Qingyuan Municipal Government in Guangzhou Shangri-La Hotel and Resort, and officially announced that Evergrande Real Madrid Football School settled down in Qingyuan, Xinhua News Agency reported. As introduced by  Mr. Xu Jiayin, Chairman of Board of GZ Evergrande Group, the investment of first phase to such school will be amounted to 0.7 billion yuan.

At the beginning of August, 2011, Guangzhou Evergrande Football Club signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Real Madrid Club in Spain, and planned to build up the Evergrande Real Madrid Football School in cooperation.

As Mr. Xu stated, within less than two weeks after announcing the drawings, more than 2,500 suggestions and opinions from corners of communities and thousands of calls have been received. “We quite appreciated on the passion of corners of communities on China football”, Mr. Xu said.
