Yesterday, “Southern Guangdong Guangcai Figures” were officially announced, and Hui Ka Yan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Evergrande Group, was successfully elected as one of the “Southern Guangdong Guangcai Figures” this year by virtue of his unremitting efforts in the charity.

The “10^th Anniversary Celebration of Guangdong Society for Promotion of the Guangcai Programme & the Award Ceremony of Southern Guangdong Guangcai Figures” was jointly sponsored by the United Front Work Department of Guangdong Province of CPC, Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce and Guangdong Society for Promotion of the Guangcai Programme. The highlighted “Southern Guangdong Guangcai Figures” were officially announced yesterday evening, and six persons including Professor Hui Ka Yan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Evergrande Group, and Wong Man, Chairman of Star River Group, won the special honor.

Under the leadership of Hui Ka Yan, Evergrande Group has been actively performing the responsibilities as a corporate citizen, and has accumulatively donated more than 1.6 billion yuan to the Chinese public charity. In the first ten months this year, Evergrande achieved the accumulated tax amount of 8.296 billion yuan.
