On November 28, the “10^th Anniversary Celebration of Guangdong Society for Promotion of the Guangcai Programme & the Award Ceremony of Southern Guangdong Guangcai Figures” was held grandly in Guangzhou. Present at the Award Ceremony were Wang Yang, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Huang Longyun, Chairman of CPPCC Guangdong Provincial Committee, Zhou Zhenhong, Standing Committee Member of Guangdong Provincial CPC, Minister of the United Front Work Department and President of Guangdong Society for Promotion of the Guangcai Programme, Lin Musheng, Vice Governor, and other leaders. Six loving care entrepreneurs including Hui Ka Yan, Vice President of Guangdong Society for Promotion of the Guangcai Programme and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Evergrande Group, won the title of “Southern Guangdong Guangcai Figures”. This activity was jointly sponsored by the United Front Work Department of Guangdong Province of CPC, Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce and Guangdong Society for Promotion of the Guangcai Programme.

Six entrepreneurs won the title of Southern Guangdong Guangcai Figures”

At the awarding evening party, “Southern Guangdong Guangcai Figures” were officially announced, and six loving care entrepreneurs including Hui Ka Yan, Wong Man, Zhan Yuxiang, Chen Chengcai, Xu Shuqing and Lu Hefeng won the special honor. Wang Yang, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, presented the honorable prize of “Southern Guangdong Guangcai Figure” to Hui Ka Yan. Thereafter, Hui Ka Yan, on behalf of the Southern Guangdong Guangcai Figures, proposed to the society that everyone should make efforts to develop undertakings to construct a harmonious society, gather the thought consensus to carry forward the Guangcai Spirit, and devote oneself to the Guangcai Programme to actively return society.

Evergrande has donated more than 1.6 billion yuan to the Chinese public charity

As the action model of Guangdong Guangcai Programme, under the leadership of Professor Hui Ka Yan, Evergrande Group has been actively performing the responsibilities as a corporate citizen, and has accumulatively donated more than 1.6 billion yuan to the Chinese public charity. In the first ten months this year, Evergrande achieved the accumulated tax amount of 8.296 billion yuan.  

At the Award Ceremony, Hui Ka Yan said when he received the short interview of the Host, “Devoting oneself to the charity is the obligation of a corporate citizen, and the Guangcai Programme is shared by all the private entrepreneurs. Maybe the amount donated by me is not the most, but I hope I can try my best to call upon more enterprises and entrepreneurs to participate in, jointly support the development of the Guangcai Programme, and create the charitable atmosphere of a harmonious society: offering others hope, offering others confidence and offering others strength.
