In the Series B of National Women’s Volleyball League, Lang Ping led Evergrande Volleyball in sweeping Hebei at home with 3:0.

In the Series B of National Women’s Volleyball League in 2009, Lang Ping led Evergrande Volleyball contesting with Hebei. Due to the wide difference of strength, Evergrande swept Hebei with 3-0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-12), gaining effortlessly a seven winning streak.

Evergrande got the halfway champion with six –game winning streak when the first half of the league ended. The second half of the season will start tonight and Evergrande will meet Hebei at home, who was swept at 3:0 by it in the first round. There was no suspense for the match and Evergrande won in three straight sets.

From the start of the first set, Yang Jie’s service frequently destroyed attacks from the rival and gained points continuously, helping Evergrande 5-0 ahead of its rival. After a suspension, Hebei scored its first point by blocking Zhou Suhong’s No.2 counterattack. But Evergrande continued its dominance in the court, with Yin Yin’s successful light smash, the score was 8-3 by the first technical suspension. After that Evergrande continued to widen the difference of the score with Yang Jie’s successful drop shot and Yin Yin’s point at No.4, resulting in Hebei’s another suspension at 10-3. Yang Jie’s attack was extremely fierce and Yin Yin played an important role at close net, which enabled Evergrande to completely block the spikes at No.4, leading the match with 16-5 by the second technical suspension. After that Evergrande still dominated over its rival with Yin Meng’s successful smash and Zhou Yuan’s successive points at No.4, which were added with services directly destructing its rival. Evergrande got the first win at 25-12 after Yin Yin’s spike at No.4 was blocked out.

Evergrande became a little lax in the beginning stage of second set, 3 level on the 4th position after Yin Meng buckle slash scores Shui labeled wrist straight, and then fly back on the 4th bit hit, Evergrande pull points difference. After that Hebei unfettered itself and put on better performance, which resulted in several wonderful quick attacks and even service point, with the score close to its rival at 11:14. However, Evergrande stabilized the situation in time when Yin Meng successively smashed in No.3 and scored by remarkable blocks, which helped Evergrande five points over its rival (16:11) by the second technical suspension. There was no suspense any longer but more errors from Hebei, thus Evergrande completely dominated the process near the end of the set.  Evergrande gained match point through Yin Meng’s service point, which was followed by Yang Jie’s quick attack in No.3. Eventually Evergrande concluded the game with 25:12 and beat Hebei at 3:0, gaining seven-game winning streak.
