Huaao Star news December 29, Beijing Time. The eighth round contests of Group B of National Women’s Volleyball League in 2009-2010 season started. Evergrande Women’s Volley led by Lang Ping beat Hebei in three straight sets at home, ranking the top of the table with seven-game winning streak.
After swept Shandong in the last round, Evergrande ranks the top of the league tables with no loss, significantly locking a ticket for the Series A. The ninth round of contests will be done in January 3, during which Evergrande will meet the challenge from Fujian. In the last contest, Evergrande reversed thrillingly when they’re defeated at 1:2, which also was the most difficult contest in the league won by Lang’s team so far. (Li Xu)
