Poverty Alleviation: Evergrande has participated in the activities on the Guangdong Poverty Alleviation Day, with donations exceeding RMB 3 billion for Guangdong's poverty alleviation. At the beginning of 2017, Evergrande donated RMB 400 million to help 26 poor villages in Huidong County and Bolo County in Huizhou City out of poverty, just as it did in Bijie, Guizhou. It donated RMB 500 million in 2018 and RMB 600 million in 2019 to revitalize Lianping County and Heping County in Heyuan City.

In addition, Evergrande has been a positive helper participating in the poverty reduction program in provinces of Henan, Shaanxi, Yunnan, Jiangxi and Qinghai. Particularly in Henan, it has donated RMB 1.65 billion to Zhoukou City for implementation of projects in the fields of industry, education, and guaranteed poverty reduction. Schools, hospitals and industrial parks have been established one after another, helping improve the levels of education and medical treatment. In Lankao County, Evergrande invested RMB1 billion to help the county strengthen its home furniture industry as a means to consolidate the poverty reduction achievement. In Shaanxi Province, Evergrande donated RMB1 billion to build 30 primary schools and kindergartens in poverty-stricken counties and key areas with insufficient educational infrastructure so that poverty is stopped from being "inherited" to the next generation. In Zhaotong, Yunnan, Evergrande donated RMB 100 million to facilitate relocation of poor population and build large-scale vegetable planting bases, which offered 24,032 job opportunities. In Xunwu County, Jiangxi, Evergrande donated RMB 50 million to support relocation of poor population, poverty reduction through industrial development, and building of residence and vegetable planting bases. In Datong County, Qinghai, Evergrande donated RMB 20 million and helped 33 villages there to build them into new demonstrative "beautiful countryside".

Donating Money for Education: Evergrande has donated nearly RMB 100 million to support Guangdong's education. It has donated RMB 30 million to Jinan University to facilitate its building into a world famous university, and RMB 20 million to South China Normal University in edu-aid projects. And it also donated RMB 30 million through Guangdong Glory Work Promotion Association to help build 100 minority elementary schools, helping 50,000 children of ethnic minorities enter schools, and RMB 6 million through Guangzhou Education Foundation to subsidize destitute students and in-service teachers with financial difficulties in Guanghzou. Moreover, Evergrande has donated RMB 20 million to Northwest A&F University and RMB 10 million to Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Earthquake Relief: Evergrande has successively donated over RMB 83 million to affected areas, including RMB 5 million for flood relief in 1998, RMB 4 million to rainstorm affected areas in Guangdong in July 2006, RMB 10 million in cash and in kind to the people affected by snow and ice disasters in January 2008, and over RMB 50 million after the earthquakes in Wenchuan and Ya'an in Sichuan and Zhaotong in Yunnan.

Tibet Aid Projects: Nyingchi Roulans International Tourist Town is a key project for Guangdong Province to aid Tibet and also a donation project by Guangdong for the 60th anniversary of Tibet's peaceful liberation. Evergrande Group built a key Tibet aiding project – Tibet Nyingchi Evergrande Hotel at the cost of over RMB 1 billion, helping Nyingchi become a new travel resort and driving the development of surrounding rural tourism to benefit local people.

On the kick-off ceremony of “Guangdong Poverty-Relief Day” in 2010, Evergrande donated 120 million yuan on micro-credit business for poor farmers.

In 2011, Evergrande donated 245 million yuan to support construction of the mountain areas in North Guangdong.

In June of 2010, Evergrande donated 10 million HK dollars to Hong Kong New Home Association in order to support new home construction.

In February 2016, the opening ceremony for the first aid projects of Evergrande Group’s one-on-one assistance  of Dafang County was held in Bijie Municipality, Dafang County and 40 major projects and other 200 projects of setting up husbandry industrialization bases were officially launched.

Special Subsidy for Football School

In October of 2012, Evergrande initiated a program of Special Subsidy together with China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation.

In 2013, a donation of RMB 20 million was made by Evergrande through China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) right after the earthquake in Ya’an, Sichuan.
