Xinhua News Agency Guangzhou. Dec. 12. Sports special. The fourth round of National Women’s Volleyball League of Group B started in Dec. 12. Guangdong Evergrande reversed and defeated Jianlong with 3-1 after it lost the first game, winning the “Derby match” at home which was a critical battle on the way to Series A.

After this round, Evergrande ranked first in the table of the league with 12 points from full victories.

Jianlong’s counsel was Hu Jin, the former coach of Chinese National Women’s Volleyball Team. Therefore, the competition was considered as the contest between two former coaches of Chinese Women’s Volleyball.

Evergrande keeps full victories in the first three rounds while Jianlong is also a team with powerful strength, of which Chen Jing and Wang Lina are members of the champion in Athens Olympics.

The two sides went ahead alternatively in the first game. When they met at 23-23, Jianlong got to the game point by Chen Jing’s quick attack and then won the game with 25-23.

In the second game, Evergrande made an adjustment that Yin Yin and Wang Li joined hands at the chief spiker position. When Yin Yin and Wang Li gained spike points one after another, which was added by the rival’s successive errors, Evergrande gradually enlarged the difference of score, winning the game with 25-20.

The third game was the fiercest, in which Jianlong saved the game point in four continuous times and lost the game reluctantly at 27-29. Greatly encouraged by it, Evergrande took the advantage and won another game to end the match.
