On March 1, the Plenary Session of New Competition Season of Guangzhou Evergrande Football Club was held smoothly in Guangzhou Evergrande Hotel. Present at the Session were Professor Hui Ka Yan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Evergrande Group, Luo Jingjun, Director of Guangzhou Sports Bureau, Liu Yongzhuo, Vice President of Evergrande Group and Chairman of Guangzhou Evergrande Football Club, all the coaches and athletes of Guangzhou Evergrande Football Club as well as over one hundred main-stream media throughout the country. Ke Peng, Vice President of Evergrande Group and General Manager of Brand Center, presided over the Session.

During the Session, Chairman Hui reviewed and summarized the experience of Guangzhou Evergrande Football Club in the past two years as well as the efforts made by the Club for the prosperity of CSL and the rising of Chinese Football. On the occasion when Guangzhou Evergrande Team would participate in AFC Champions League, Chairman Hui emphasized the Courage & Uprightness and the Wolf Instinct again, and required all the coaches and players of the Club to carry forward the Evergrande spirit and inherit the Evergrande culture, striving to achieve the goal of becoming the champion of AFC Champions League, and winning honor for the country.

Entrusted by Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Luo Jingjun, Director of Guangzhou Sports Bureau, participate in the Session. According to Director Luo, Evergrande Football Team has allowed the Guangzhou football career to hit its old highs. As a government department, Guangzhou Sports Bureau will also continue offering the coordinated services and create conditions beneficial to the development of Evergrande Football Team, and wishes Guangzhou Evergrande Football Club new glories.

Finally, all the players of Guangzhou Evergrande Football Team took a solemn collective oath: to carry forward the Evergrande spirit and inherit the Evergrande culture; to obey management and follow instructions; with complete wolf instinct and courage to fight up against the rivals; with determined tactics to struggle; to succeed in carrying out the mission and win honor for the country; to struggle for the rising of Chinese Football.
