On Dec. 13, Dr. Xia Haijun, Vice Chairman of China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce (CRECC), Vice Chairman and President of Evergrande, was invited to the 2014 annual conference of CRECC held in Beijing and deliver a speech in regard of “Integrated Finance——Real Estate Control and Finance” at the conference. 

President Xia stated at the conference that four trends would emerge in future real estate industry. First, the property price would stay stable and the sale would increase; second, the concentration of the industry would improve; third, a closer link would be achieved between real estate industry and finance; last, common yet diversified exploration would be made by property developers.  

The real estate industry would get more support than ever due to the economic slowdown, and thus the property price would stay stable in the coming year, President said at the conference and illustrated by the development of Evergrande that the interaction between finance and real industry would be of great significance to the leaping development of enterprises. He further stated that a great opportunity for development would approach to large corporations if they were able to develop financial innovation in the context of economic new normal.                       

The annual conference of CRECC is among the most influential events of the real estate industry, the theme of the 2014 annual conference focused on “cross-industry, innovative and ground-breaking”. The conference has attracted correspondents from around one hundred news agencies, about one thousand representatives of real estate corporations, nationally-reputed real estate entrepreneurs, such as Feng Lun, Zhang Li, Ren Zhiqiang, Huang Nubo and Zhang Baoquan, as well as leaders and experts of the industry, including Huang Xiaoxiang, Vice Chairman and Party Section Vice Secretary of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce(ACFIC), Nie Meisheng, Chairman of CRECC and President of Real Estate Association of Tsinghua Schoolfellow, Mao Xiaofeng, President of China Minsheng Bank (CMBC), Prof. Huang Yiping, Vice President of National Development Research Institute of Pecking University and Liu Hongyu, President of Real Estate Research Institute of Tsinghua University.
