At that time, Guangdong Evergrande Women’s Volleyball Team led by Lang Ping will play against the newly established US National Team.

On the news conference that very day, Lang Ping said that to choose this time is because that US Women’s Volleyball Team is having the collective training and they have time to play the game. At the same time, “EWVT” will end its schedule of League B of the National Women’s Volleyball’s competition season, and hope that we can improve the standard of the team through this high-level game.

When looking forward to the game, Lang Ping said, “It’s very hard to estimate the result of the game. The US team which is in collective training is very powerful. I know half of their team players. Without any accidents, most of them will take part in the London Olympic Games. Of course, our team is getting better and better in cooperation. Most of our team players have rich experience in international games. And this is definitely a high-level contest.”

Guangdong Evergrande Women’s Volleyball Team Club was registered to set up in April 2009. It’s the first real professional volleyball club in China. During the current League B of National Women’s Volleyball, this team has got nine-game winning streak and basically got the quota for upgrading into the League A.

There are many watching focuses on the game. Lang Ping had been the chief coach of both China and US’s national women’s volleyball team. Under the current volleyball team she led, Feng Kun, the “golden generation” like Yang Hao, and Zhou Suhong, etc. are all in this team. This game can be considered as another fight between the “gold generation” of China Women’ s Volleyball and US women’s volleyball team.

According to introduction, US women’s volleyball team will arrive in Guangzhou on 28^th. Before the formal game, both sides will have two to three warm-up games.

There are only three rounds left of this competition season of League B. At present, it’s no problem for “EWVT” that has won all the games to rush to the League A. During next season, are there any new changes for the team? Regarding to this question, Lang Ping said, “First, we must play the last three games well. After the end of the League, I hope all the team players can have a happy Spring Festival. They have campaigned many years for their team and country, and they seldom enjoy the Spring Festival vocation. I will consider forming the team of next season after Spring Festival.”
