As a leading real estate enterprise listed in Hong Kong with the largest scale in China, Evergrande Group has been actively developing in the second- and third-tier cities in China recently. In the past few days, Professor Hui Ka Yan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Evergrande Group, made an investment investigation in Harbin Municipality of Heilongjiang Province, with the intent of increasing the investment in the industrial development in the large scope of Northeast China. In particular, Hong Kong New World Group, Chinese Estates and other Hong Kong invested large-scale financial groups also came with Evergrande this time, indicating that Evergrande intends to organize groups for the purpose of layout and development in the Northeast. Fang Chengguang, Chairman of New World Group AOS Management Ltd and Executive Director of New World China Land Co., Ltd, Jiang Zhiming, Head of China Business Department of Chinese Estates Holdings, and Li Zhenxing, Deputy Manager of China Business Department of Chinese Estates Holdings, also participated in this investigation accompanying Hui Ka Yan.

During the investigation in the Northeast, the Hong Kong invested enterprises headed by Evergrande received a warm welcome from Wang Xiankui, Provincial Governor of Heilongjiang, and Gai Ruyin, Member of the Standing Committee of Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Harbin Municipal Committee. The both parties had in-depth discussion on how to promote the upgrade of the local industries and the transition of the economic development, and had in-depth talks on how the super large-scale enterprises to play an important role in promoting the regional economic development. Provincial Governor Wang Xiankui and Secretary of Harbin Municipal Committee Gai Ruyin expressed their hope that the Hong Kong invested enterprises with Evergrande as the representative could further increase the strength and extent of investment in Heilongjiang in the future, playing an example role in promoting the local economic revival in an all-round way.
