Seventh China Charity Award Is Published in Beijing, Chairman Hui Won the Award for the Fifth Time

On April 10, China Charity Award, the highest government award in the Chinese charity field hosted by the ministry of civil affairs of China, was published in Beijing, and Professor Hui, chairman of the board of directors of Evergrande Group, and other philanthropists, institutions and charity projects won the award. In that morning, Li Keqiang, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC and vice-premier of the State Council, and other Party and State leaders participated in the ceremony and received the awarded representatives. Li Keqiang made an important speech, and was taken photos with the representatives to mark the occasion.

As the national notable entrepreneur and philanthropist, Chairman Hui has won ‘the charitable donator with most love in China Charity Award’ for the fifth time, and has won the award for the most times sine the award began.

The host party said that during the past 16 years, Chairman Hui had earnestly practiced what he advocates, and led the charities in the nation throughout. According to the data, under the leadership of Hui, Evergrande Group has positively performed the civic duty of the enterprise, gradually enlarged the input in the charity business year by year, participated in more charity fields, actively exploited new paths for developing Chinese charity business, and inputted about 1.6 billion yuan in the charity fields of poverty alleviation, people’s livelihood, education, sports, disaster relief and the like. And the tax paid by Evergrande Group was up to 8.9 billion yuan in 2011.
