On the other day, the 2012 China Charity List of Forbes was published, and Professor Hui Kayan, chairman of the board of directors of Evergrande Group, ranks the first by donating 390 million yuan in cash in 2011.

According to the list, 100 entrepreneurs and enterprises donated 4.79 billion yuan in total, and the donation of 13 entrepreneurs is more than billions of yuan and takes up 46% of the gross donation. To be mentioned, Professor Hui Kayan, who is a well-know entrepreneur and philanthropist nationwide and chairman of the board of directors of Evergrande Group, ranks the first in the list for the first time in 2011 by donating 390 million yuan after having been in the list for 4 years continuously. Compared with Zhu Mengyi, chairman of the board of directors of the Pearl River Investment who ranks the second place in the list and donated 300 million yuan, the donation amount of Hui Kayan is higher than that of Zhu Mengyi by 30%; and compared with Wang Jianlin, chairman of Dalina Wanda Group who ranks the third in the list and donated 230 million yuan, the donation amount of Hui Kayan is higher than that of Wang Jianlin by 70%.

During the past 16 years, Chairman Hui has earnestly practiced what he advocates, gradually enlarged the input in the charity business year by year, participated in more charity fields, inputted about 1.6 billion yuan in the charity fields of poverty alleviation, people’s livelihood, education, sports, disaster relief and the like, and inputted about millions of yuan each year.
