Vehicle Manufacturing
Evergrande has established a joint venture with Koenigsegg, and owns advanced vehicle R&D and manufacturing core technologies in the world. On March 3, 2020, the world’s first super new energy speedster Gemera was debuted in Geneva, symbolizing the competence of Evergrande in building world-class new energy vehicles.

R&D and Design
The enterprise has developed 14 new models and key technologies simultaneously with several world’s leading players in automotive engineering technology, and it has independent intellectual property rights. The first model 1 Hengchi will make its debut in 2020. The whole series will be on SOP in 2021.

Style design
It cooperates with 15 top auto style designers from Germany, Italy, the US, France and Japan, who will provide the world’s top style design for the whole family of EverGallop. It has also established Evergrande NEV Style Design Committee, where Chairman Xu Jiayin of the board of Evergrande Group took, in person, the office of director.

Through entering into strategic cooperation agreements with the world’s top 60 auto parts suppliers such as Bosch, Magna, Continental, ZF, Thyssenkrupp, JTEKT, and BASF, it has built up a grand world-class auto part supplier.

Industry 4.0 top smart factory
Supported by its global, integrated R&D mode, the Group has deployed ten production bases in China, Sweden and countries along the Belt and Road. All of them were built into Industry 4.0 top smart factories, which were “no light” factories using artificial intelligence and IoT techs to achieve unmanned lines of stamping, car body making and painting. It introduced the world’s most advanced production equipment and processes from Germany’s Schuler, KUKA, and Dürr to Swiss’s ABB and Japan’s FANUC to provide strong support to its world-class products.

New Energy Technology
By joining hands with CENAT, Evergrande acquired state-of-the-art battery know-how and research team from Japan. Its battery production and installed capacity rank top 10 in China while its soft package battery makes the enterprise be among the top three in this field. In the meantime, the enterprise plans to build several 30GWh super factories in 10 years so as to construct a complete ecological value chain for the battery industry and become a leader in the new energy field.

Smart Charging
Evergrande has established a joint venture with the State Grid Corporation of China, with each party holding a 50% share. The joint venture focuses on the smart charging services for parking spaces in communities to solve the charging problem of new energy vehicles. So far, its plan has included the installation of smart chargers in 418 communities around the country, among which 154 have been completed.
