Evergrande Established Strategic Partnership with SPD Bank & Bank of Shanghai Respectively and Is Granted Credit of 55 billion RMB

On April 8, HuiKaYan (Chairman of Board of Evergrande) and Xia Haijun (Vice-Chairman of Board and President) met with Ji Xiaohui, Chairman of SPD Bank, Jin Yu, Chairman of Bank of Shanghai, and other senior executives in Shanghai and signed strategic cooperation agreements with these two banks, who tentatively decided to grant a total credit of 55 billion RMB to Evergrande. From April 5 to April 9, HuiKaYan and other senior executives of Evergrande met with many senior management of different financial institutions, such as China Minsheng Bank, in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.

It is reported that participants from the China Minsheng Bank include Hong Qi (Chairman), Zheng Wanchun (Party Secretary and President), Shi Jie (President Assistant and Division President of the Corporate & Investment Banking Business Dept), Chen Huande (General Manager of the Corporate Business Strategy Planning Dept under the Corporate & Investment Banking Business Dept), Wu Yukai (General Manager of Corporate Banking Dept under the Corporate & Investment Banking Business Dept), etc..

Ji Xiaohui (Chairman of SPD Bank), Liu Xinyi (President), Sun Jianping (Chief Supervisor), Pan Weidong (Vice President), Xie Wei (General Manager), Yang Bin (General Manager), Ren Jun (General Manager), Lu Liang (General Manager), Feng Jing (General Manager), Cheng Bin (Vice-General Manager), and Li Rongjun (President of the Guangzhou Branch) all participated in the meeting with Evergrande.

As for Bank of Shanghai, under the leadership of the Chairman Jin Yu, Jiang Hong (Vice President), Zhu Shouyuan (General Manager of the Corporate Business and Government & Group Customer Dept), Zhu Zhongnan (General Manager of the Retail Business Dept), and Yang Rong (General Manager of the Credit Card Center), Lin Liqun (President of the Shenzhen Branch) and other senior managers attended the meeting with Evergrande.

During the meeting, the senior management of the three banks highly recognized the stable development and extraordinary business performance of Evergrande. Both sides reached broad consensus on further consolidating and enhancing the cooperative partnership. On April 8, Bank of Shanghai and SPD Bank each signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Evergrande.


Evergrande Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with SPD Bank

According to the agreements, Bank of Shanghai will grant integrated credit of up to 20 billion RMB to Evergrande and will carry out comprehensive cooperation with the latter in terms of finance, healthcare, Internet community services, and culture & sports, while SPD Bank will expand all-round cooperation with Evergrande in the financial service domain. SPD Bank also plans to grant Evergrande credit of 35 billion RMB.

It is learned that all institutions and enterprises that HuiKaYan and Xia Haijun met with in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen are the top players in the financial industry and are equipped with tremendous capabilities. Apart from these three large commercials banks, China Minsheng Bank, Bank of Shanghai and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, Evergrande also visited central financial institutions and enterprises, such as ICBC, Agricultural Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, PICC, CITIC Group, China Investment Corporation, and China Merchants, as well as leading securities and fund companies, such as CITIC Securities, Guotai Junan Securities, China Asset Management and Hua An Funds. All these financial institutions expressed great recognition in Evergrande’s strength and business results and promised to expand their cooperation with Evergrande.
