On October 24, the much-awaited list of top 100 outstanding private entrepreneurs during the 40 years of reform and opening up was released, with Hui Ka Yan, Jack Ma, Pony Ma, Zhan Jindong, and other influential Chinese private entrepreneurs being included.

It is learned that the list was jointly recommended by the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee and All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. At the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening up, the list was made to publicize the great achievements of private economy, showcase the manner of private entrepreneurs as builders of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and encourage those engaging in non-public sectors to "remain true to their original aspiration and renew their efforts in reform" and make new contributions for the realization of Chinese dream of great national renewal.

Thanks to the exciting policy of reform and opening up, under the leadership of Hui Ka Yan, Evergrande Group has grown into a Fortune Global 500 conglomerate based on livelihood and real estate, with culture and tourism and health maintenance as priorities and hi-tech as leading driver.
