On July 22, the 2019 Fortune Global 500 list was published. China Evergrande Group (HK.03333) ranked 138th with an operating income of USD 70.48 billion, up 92 places from last year, and ranked 16th in Fortune China 500.

The Fortune Global 500 is an authoritative list reflecting the overall strength of enterprises. This year, Chinese enterprises have continued to be powerful, reflecting the continued improvement of China's economy and increasing influence: large state-owned enterprises such as Sinopec, PetroChina and State Grid continue to rank at the top; moreover, the number and ranking of Chinese private enterprises are steadily rising.

Among them, Evergrande is particularly prominent. The company made into the Fortune Global 500 for the first time in 2016, ranking 496th. It climbed up to 138th within three years, becoming one of the enterprises with the fastest growth in the list. Furthermore, driven by the development model of "focusing on both scale and efficiency", Evergrande ranked 107th in the world with a profit of USD 5.65 billion, demonstrating its growing trend of high-quality development.

Analysts believe that most of Evergrande's sales performance of over RMB 550 billion in 2018 will be settled next year, which means Evergrande's business income will be fully guaranteed next year, and it is believed that Evergrande will successfully rank among the top 100 in the world next year.
