On April 12, the results report of Evergrande Real Estate Group (03333-HK) showed that the contracted sales amount in 2009 was 30.3 billion yuan, indicating a year-on-year growth of 400.0%, among which, there was 27.64 billion yuan contracted sales amount of which the construction is to be completed in 2010. The sales construction area was 5.637 million square meters, indicating a year-on-year growth of 397.0%. The annual average selling price was 5,375 yuan per square meter, among which, the average selling price of December 2009 was ,6157 yuan per square meter, with an increase of 54.7% compared to that of January 2009, which was 3,979 yuan per square meter.

The interim revenue increased by 58.4%, namely, 5.72 billion yuan, with the sales amount of Real Estate Development Department accounting for 88%, and the Group had 25 projects of which the housing is handed over, with the annual housing handover amount of 5.04 billion yuan, an increase of 44.4% compared with that of the previous year; the annual housing handover area was 881,000 square meters, an increase of 148.0% compared with that of the previous year.

The interim fair-value revenue of Evergrande from the investment in properties increased to be 843 million yuan by 988.0%, with the interim gross profit of 1.95 billion yuan increased by 31.8%, and the gross profit rate of 34%, which is an ideal level.

By the end of the year 2009, Evergrande had owned 41 projects under construction, with the salable area under construction of 16.479 million square meters, including 32 on-sale projects and 13 projects that are not on sale yet.
