The sales amount of Evergrande Real Estate (3333) in a single month has hit new highs for three consecutive months. The sales amount of November is 6.56 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), with an increase of 1 billion yuan compared with that of October. The accumulative sales amount has reached 47.72 billion yuan, over-fulfilling the annual target of 40 billion yuan. The Company points out that the sales amount can exceed 50 billion yuan without suspense and the sales target of next year will be increased by at least 20%.

The monthly sales amount of Evergrande Real Estate has been stably increasing every month this year except the substantial decrease once in February due to the lunar New Year, from 3.48 billion yuan in January to 6.56 billion yuan in last month while the average contracted selling price has remained stable, which was 6,745 yuan per square meter in November, close to 6,744 yuan in the same period of last year. Xia Haijun, Vice Chairman and Executive President of Evergrande, said, “As the sales amount has reached the target, the Company has correspondingly adjusted the selling prices. It is expected that the sales amount of next year will exceed that of this year by 20%. But at present it is difficult to predict the market conditions of next year”.

As for the question whether Evergrande has the plan to also reach the level of 100 billion yuan in sales amount when Vanke’s sales amount this year has exceeded 100 billion yuan, Xia Haijun smiled and congratulated Vanke. He said the Company’s sales amount this year had increased by about 60% compared with that of the same period in 2009. In case the Company’s sales amount could continue to increase by 60% in the coming two years, the sales amount could exceed 100 billion yuan within two years. However, he emphasized that the Company did not have this target. Xia Haijun only said that the Company would continue to devote its efforts to development in second- and third-tier cities in the future so as to avoid the influence of regulations and controls.
