On July 26, the “Ceremony Marking the Establishment of Evergrande Needy Undergraduate Assistance Fund and Start of Look for Objects of Assistance” was held in the Great Hall of People. This is a large-scale charity campaign financed by another 30 million yuan donated by Evergrande to China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation after the 30 million yuan it donated in a lump in 2009 to sponsor the activity of “10000-Peron Travel of Charity. The establishment of the fund means that help is available to 13,000 ~ 14,000 university freshers in 100 universities throughout the country, who are excellent in both character and learning, but feel the pinch. The move is rarely seen in terms of the large amount of lump-sum donation, the wide coverage and the large number of students being assisted.
