December 25, 2009 saw the release of the overall rating list of gold medals for the real estate industry of Guangdong, which was sponsored by Southern Metropolis Daily and cosponsored by www.nddaily.com, www.oeeee.com, www.focus.cn, www.gz.house.163.com, www.soufun.com, http://bj.house.sina.com.cn, www.fangQQ.com and www.snifast.com. Evergrande Real Estate snatched the award of “Gold Medal Enterprise of the Year”, while one of its estates took the award of “Gold Medal Scenery/Garden of the Year”.

It is learnt that the participating enterprises and estates are located in the important cities of the Pearl River Delta, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan, Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Huizhou. The activity represents an attempt at integrating media resources to erect a new platform for the developers and estates in the PRD, where they can compare notes, learn from one another and promote the sales of their estates. It has also created a broader platform of authoritative consumption information for consumers to guide consumption by setting up enterprise and product models and promote the common progress and healthy development of the real estate industry and market in the 7 PRD cities of Guangdong.
