In the afternoon of April 13, Guangdong Real Estate Association held a news conference and launched the Real Estate Expo of Pearl River Delta Region 2010. Chen Yingsong, Deputy Director-General of Guangdong Province Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Department, and Cai Suisheng, President of Guangdong Real Estate Association, attended the conference, and invited the top ten leaders in the real estate industry of Guangzhou to participate.

Chen Yingsong, Deputy Director-General of Guangdong Province Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Department, said in the conference that efforts would be made to build more welfare housing projects to increase supply, and to enhance the supervision and management of real estate development this year. Currently, the rising housing price is due to the strong rigid demands for self-accommodation or investment, so it is important to take economic and legal measures to inhibit the speculative investments in real estate property.

In the conference, the top ten leaders of real estate industry of Guangzhou also introduced their respective marketing situations and enterprise development strategies. Li Gang, Vice-president of Guangdong Real Estate Association and Vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of Evergrande, delivered the first speech as the representative of the enterprises present. He said that Evergrande would develop over 30 projects in 2010, with over 60 project available for sale throughout the year. During the Labor Day Holiday, Evergrande will launch 10 new projects, including Evergrande Oasis, Evergrande Paradise and Evergrande Town, to the market in Nanchang, Taiyuan, Shijiazhuang, Hefei and other cities, and provide up to 20,000 apartments in the whole country in May with an estimated total area of 1.96 million square meters. In line with the concept of reasonable pricing, Evergrande will offer maximum benefits to the purchasers.

The Real Estate Expo of Pearl River Delta Region 2010 is centered on the theme of “Gasping Opportunities to Jointly Promote the Healthy Development of Real Estate Market”, and a three-day expiation will be held in Guangzhou Jinhan Exhibition Center. The Real Estate Expo aims to encourage the joint efforts to promote the healthy development of real estate industry during the Labor Day Holiday. Evergrande Real Estate Group will present its Guangdong projects including Evergrande Royal Scenic Peninsula, Evergrande Oasis, Evergrande Mountains and Rivers City and Evergrande Splendor in the exhibition.

In addition, Evergrande will launch a series of mid-range urban products, tourism and resort products, villas and other new products in the Labor Day Holiday, and will provide such offers as 15%-off discount, buy-it-now prices for present real estate and special offers to group purchase. Evergrande Royal Scenic Peninsula will launch 150 sets of foreign-style houses and riverside villas. Evergrande Oasis will launch overhead villas and river-view houses.
