On the evening of April 30, the literature and art charity party with "Golden Age of Hainan ? Harmonious Home" as the theme - to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Hainan was held at Purple Garden Centre Plaza on the west coast of Haikou. At the party, Evergrande Group bought two works of art for 1.2 million yuan, and such donation will be donated to Yushu earthquake disaster victims via Hainan Province Charity Federation.

It is learned that the party auctioned seven works from comic dialogue artist Jiang Kun, composer Xu Peidong, performing artist Tang Guoqiang and other famous artists, and raised 1.77 million yuan of donation in total. Among them, a sculpture of artist Han Meilin named "Fuqing Herui" was bought by Evergrande Group for one million yuan; and the calligraphy of deputy party secretary of China Federation of Literature and Vice Chairman Tan Zhigang was also bought by Evergrande Group Board Chairman Mr. Xu Jiayin in his name for 200,000 yuan.

Deputy secretary of Hainan Province and Governor Luo Baoming, Chairman of Political Consultative Conference of Hainan Province Zhong Wen, deputy secretary of Hainan Province Yu Xun, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and Secretary General Xu Jun, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, Director of Propaganda Department and Deputy Governor Tan Li and other party and government leaders attended the party.
