Closely following the strategy of international tourist island, Evergrande speeds up the development in Hainan

On Dec. 1, Professor Hui Ka Yan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Evergrande Real Estate Group (HK. 3333), made on-the-spot investigation on relevant projects in Hainan. During the investigation, some provincial and municipal leaders such as Wei Liucheng, Secretary of Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Director of Provincial NPC, Liu Dengshan, Deputy Secretary General of the Provincial Party Committee, Zhang Qi, Secretary of Danzhou Municipal Party Committee, Li Jianghua, Mayor of Danzhou City, Li Jianfei, Chief of the Provincial Housing and Construction Department, and Quan Xiaohui, Secretary General of Danzhou Municipal Party Committee, cordially met the delegation led by Hui Ka Yan, Chairman of Evergrande, and both sides carried out deep exchange on matters concerned such as Evergrande’s strengthening of investment in Hainan.

During the meeting, Secretary Wei Liucheng expressed welcome to the revisit of Chairman Hui Ka Yan to Hainan. He said, “The construction of Hainan as an international tourist island has been upgraded to the level of national strategy. A large number of large-scaled enterprises with strength, scale, and famous brands are urgently needed to participate in the construction plan shouldering heavy responsibilities. The governments at different levels in Hainan Province will continue to provide high-quality services to enterprises which develop in Hainan Province”. In addition, Secretary Wei expressed high recognition and praise on the development conditions of Evergrande Group in Hainan Province in the recent one year.

It is learned that Evergrande took the lead in developing in Hainan Province as early as in 2009. Through the development of one year, Evergrande has successfully developed projects in Haikou and Danzhou. The projects under construction include Haikou Evergrande Oasis, Danzhou Evergrande Splendor, and Danzhou Evergrande Metropolis.
